The Partnership for Public Service on hosted the 2022 West Coast Federal Talent Summit. This virtual summit brought together West Coast-based thought leaders and practitioners in federal human resources, academia, community organizing, and workforce development to propel efforts aimed at filling the federal talent gap on the West Coast. The event included keynote speakers, content presentations, panel discussions, and opportunities for networking.
During the event, agencies learned about ways to refine their recruiting and hiring strategies, and workforce development and higher education professionals will be equipped with knowledge and resources to work with job seekers as they navigate the federal hiring process.
Secretary Napolitano participated in a fireside chat about raising the profile of federal service and making the federal government a preferred employer.
